Planting Seeds of HOPE at ROPE - Sept. 10

The Community Service Council of West Pasco, Inc. is partnering with THE ROPE CENTER of Hudson.

We are looking for able bodies with work gloves, yard tools, painting equipment, soap buckets, and a SMILE!

We have two project days! This event registration is for Sept. 10.

Sept. 10: clean up and yard debris removal
Sept. 17: painting, planting, mulching, and garden box installation

ALSO, we are looking for donations of new or gently used outdoor seating/furniture.

For our next Mission in a Meeting, we will be filling 100 cinch-sack bags with practical supplies for individuals experiencing street homelessness.

We need your help collecting the following items:

New adult crew socks
Bottled water (small)
Individually wrapped protein or granola bars
Peanut butter or cheese crackers
Tuna or chicken pouches with easy-open tops
Fruit cups or applesauce pouches
Travel-size toothpaste and individually packaged toothbrushes
Travel-size deodorant and soap
Individual body wipes
Hand sanitizer
Lip balm and sunscreen
Small tissue packages
Bandages or small first-aid packets
Feminine hygiene products
Gallon-size resealable bags
Bug Spray/Wipes
comb/brush

Our goal is to collect 100 of each item so every bag contains the same basic necessities. Members may bring any quantity—every donation will help us reach our goal.

Please bring your donations to our next CSC meeting on September 10. After the meeting, we will work together to assemble all 100 bags for distribution.
